Tobacco Cellar App
Tobacco Cellar is meant for individuals to keep track of their collection of pipe tobaccos. The focus is on ease of entry, tracking, and maintenance of the collection, and flexibility in use.
This app is intended only for those of legal age to consume tobacco products. It does not promote the use of tobacco and does not facilitate the use or sale of tobacco products.
You can choose how verbose you want to be, with most fields being optional. Want a simple list that's searchable? No problem. Want to label each individual tin/container and track every minute detail? Also not a problem. You choose how much and what you want to track.
In addition to maintaining an easily update-able list, there are also statistics available about your collection, and tools to find what you do and don't have including powerful filtering options and a quick search to look for blends by name.
Simple date tracking screen for those who age their stuff, just set an "open" date in the future for when you plan to open. Checking the date screen shows anything that will be ready this week and month, as well as date statistics.
Features a CSV import wizard with a wealth of options to make moving or copying your collection from spreadsheets easy, as well as CSV export for transferring your data elsewhere.
Batch editing for many fields makes mass updating easier.
All of this while forever being free and never having ads. Your personal data remains secure and the app requires no permissions to be granted to it and does not use the internet - completely offline with the data locally on your phone.
There's even options for backup. Utilize the CSV import/export as an option, or choose the backup option in the settings (easier, saves offline to your device), or allow Google automatic backup to handle it (easiest, but not as guaranteed as manual backups).
No "vibe-coded" bullshit or half-assed AI-generated "web app" garbage, this is a real app done right(ish) as a passion project, not for clout or money grabbing.
This is a database app, not a spreadsheet—it's designed to be simple, easy and allow for dynamic data. The primary purpose is to have a list of your tobacco blends that can be easily searched and filtered, with a secondary purpose of seeing statistics about your collection. As such, data needs to be consistent for generating relevant statistical information.
It is not meant for bloated, pedantic micro-managing, and never will be. If you want spreadsheet stuff, then get a spreadsheet app.
